The Squidoo Experiment

Over the last 12 months I have been experimenting with different ways to make money online. Throughout this time I have picked up some invaluable tips from others and ultimately learnt a great deal about SEO and Internet Marketing. I am not saying that I am an expert but there are definite signs of progression.

I am now taking what I have learnt in to a new arena and would like to share my journey on The SEO Experiment.

The new arena is of course Squidoo and for those of you are unfamiliar, Squidoo is a web 2.0 online community which allows you to create web pages or “Lenses” centered on any topic of your choice (be sure to make yourself familiar with the topics which are not allowed, click here to find out what not to do)

This page is my Squidoo HQ and will feature all of my “Squidoo Goings On”

I am an active participant on an Internet Marketing forum called Income Igniter (formerly WP Goldmine). A new feature on the forum is a monthly challenge which encourages all members to take part in something new. This month is Squidoo and I am going to give it my all.

Rather than just go in all guns blazing and hope for the best, I went about this in a slightly different way and decided to seek out some help from those who have already walked the line. It did not take me long before I realised that one of the top names in this field was Erica Stone. Erica is a great success story and has seen some serious returns from the Amazon Affiliate Program so it did not take me long before I purchased one of her Squidoo guides: The Power of Squidazon and began to create my first few Lenses.

My Lenses

The Power of Squidazon promotes a strategy of creating 6 related Lenses which formulate a comprehensive guide surrounding a central product niche. The niche I have chosen for my attempt is GPS Running Watches as it is something that I can relate to.

Below is a list of all the Squidoo Lenses which I have created as part of my Squidoo Experiment:

GPS Watches

  1. My First Lens looks at the Best GPS Running Watches which are available to buy on the market.
  2. My Second Lens is a specific Review of the Garmin Forerunner 610 GPS Running Watch.
  3. Lens 3 takes a look at The Best GPS Running Watch under £150

  2. Meet my Hamsters
